By purchasing a Certificate of Deposit, you are guaranteed a fixed rate of interest for a specific period of time. You may choose a maturity from 91 days to 60 months on the quoted rates of interest. New rates are posted every Thursday. The minimum amount required to purchase a CD is $500.00. A penalty may be imposed for early withdrawals.
